Use a reference (but don't copy it!)

If you see on the web a beautiful web design, color combination or design layout, try to get ideas from this only. Do not copy it.

Be unique

Always Try to create a unique layout design. Do not use a lot of animated .gifs, fade-ins, etc. It will make your design looks odd.

Good Content is King
Always write pure content related to your website, huge pages with good content is always better for your site.

Keep the body text on your home (index) page highlighted. Do not put much matter. Avoid the need for the user to scroll down on any page.

Graphical designs
Use the graphics, based on your page content. Graphic design should always say about your page and services.

Be valid HTML-compliant
Proper HTML standards should follow when coding your website. It helps people to view your website using any browser. Be valid HTML friendly website.

File size
Always use low file size, so that your website get loaded faster in any browser. You can compress your images using “save for web page” option from Photoshop.

External Links
Always open all external links to a new window so that visitors can easily return to your website when they are finished browsing the external link.

Don’t increase the size of your website by putting unnecessary elements like throwing music, little animations or scrolling text without any real reason. This does not make a good looking site.
